CLEANER, GREENER SMARTER TRAVELING !

Silverline has partnered with carbon-offsetting company Carbon Retirement to help reduce the carbon emissions associated with your travel with us.

Carbon Retirement (www.carbonretirement.com) offers the most effective and ethical way to offset.  On our behalf they buy up industrial pollution permits and permanently remove them from the European system so they cannot be used. This reduces pollution in Europe and incentivises investment in low carbon technologies.

Silverline offers this offsetting service to all of our clients.  This is how it currently works with our client BIOCITY, a company in Nottingham.

• Silverline records the total mileage that our vehicles have travelled for BIOCITY during a 12 month period.
• Carbon Retirement calculates the greenhouse gas emissions caused by that mileage.
• Silverline offsets those emissions through Carbon Retirement, and verifies the payment to BIOCITY.
